I had a Benelli Trek in the garage with the RC for a while.
It was mental!
It was a cheap bike with some top notch suspension on it.
Lovely triple engine that sounded like a Ferrari on helium.

|Bigstu||Up until a month ago I owned a KTM950 sm. In the UK it was voted 2nd funest bike of all time. It pulled like my RC51 up to 180, if I had the room for 2 bikes I'd of kept it, itís great bike with a great sound when using the obligatory Akrapovics. Buy one, you wonít be disappointed!!|

you have a good set with the 530 SM and the RC. I wouldn't change it unless the itch is to get rid of the RC. There is no such thing as a do it all great bike. you need to own multiples.
I'm at 3... and Buying a 4th.

|askela||I just tried a 690smc yesterday and it was awesome. If I had one bike, it would be the rc for sure. I wouldn't just have the smc as one bike|

Anybody else have a SuperMoto & RC51??
I love riding my RC51, but I have recently moved to Los Angeles for work and now I find myself riding my 2008 KTM 530 EXCR SuperMoto most days instead of my RC (which used to see plenty of spirited ride time in Nor-Cal). Since I have moved here in July, I have yet to see 1 twisty road, every street is rough and bumpy... and my travel path is only 4-5 miles of LA city streets... eventually I hope to meet up with some other riders for weekend rides, but the only ones I have encountered so far are merely superbike commuters.
I am seriously considering a Ducati Hypermotard, but the wife says that I've got to get rid of something(s) in exchange...
So... does the RC51 go for a more "daily rideable" ducati, or do I keep the 2 bike solution of lightweight SuMo, and occasional RC51 freeway ride???
