Albertus Pretty neat so far. Any updates Paul? Would love to see the finished bike.

Your VFR750RR build is being featured in the BikeBuilds.net
directory here: onespeedpaul's VFR750RR build

Were currently displaying only a reduced-size photo (similar to what youd find in Google
Images). We'd like to ask for your permission to publish the original full-size image with your
build listing.

If anyone would like to have a build of their own listed, just send me a message with a link to
the build thread and well take care of the rest.

onespeedpaul no updates really, been busy remodeling a bathroom plus two little kids! still need to rejet it and figure out a rear brake. be nice to have headlight and pare down the wiring harness and strip it back down for a serious claen up and paint/powdercoat...haha all in good time!

Michelangelo Any updates with pics of this project?!

onespeedpaul got a tag and rode around the block a couple times, running a bit lean and need to sync the carbs, equally important, still need to figure out a rear master cylinder solution.....may have to graft the leftovers of a bent 900rr rearset onto the VFR rearset. it's great tho!

onespeedpaul yesterday i spooned on new tires and alot of misc-type stuff like re-tightening bolts front to back, replacing the clutch line and rc51 clutch master, today i finished welding the headers together and put the chain on, it's going to be rideable real soon!

waiting for petcock, gas cap, dzus fasteners, muffler packing and still need to figure out a rearset solution, mainly for the brake side, thinking a set of basic woodcrafts meant for 900rr should be the doggies danglies.

onespeedpaul i need a rearset solution, my VFR sets were destroyed when i got the bike, got a set of 900rr, they fit, but are ~1" so my question is, how about a set of woodcraft for 900rr's? like these: HONDA RC-51 RC51 2001-06 WOODCRAFT REARSETS BASIC KIT | eBay

all i would need is the brake pedal, and should put me in a decent position....

back on track

now back to our regularly scheduled program, i finally got to a point that i have a useable space in my garage, and the dire need to finish and sell at tleast of my project bikes, figured i might as well finish them all starting with the one that's my current favorite.

i did some disassembly, removed the headers to finish welding them and did some tidying of the wiring. i wish i had the patience to really hack into this harness and reduce it to the bare minimum, but for now it will stay as-is.

Michelangelo Cool project. Going to have to follow this thread now.
Why go with the 1995 year? Wished you would've left the single sidearm on it. I'd like to do a similiar project, gotta love the v4s. I currently have a 1987 Magna (Super Magna) that I just fixed up. Bought it wrecked and it's looking nice.

TLRSKUNK Very interested.

why are you getting rid of it? and does it currently run and ride-able?

and if I can work it out will you do pay-pal for a deposit then cash when i can get down there to pick it up in person? How fast do you need it to go away? Basically can you not list it for sale till I get stateside and can liquidate a toy then drive down and pick it up?

I have been looking for one of these and would prefer to buy one from someone on here vs craigslist.

onespeedpaul no updates recently.

been down with a cold also back to being a full time stay at home dad, throw in some G-parent deaths and voila, no time to tinker!
