I've always had better luck with a reputable locksmith. Find one in your area and have them make a copy. There's no chip or any other security in the key, just need to have somebody who knows what they're doing make the copy (i.e. not Lowes or the parts boy at the dealer).

So I can get a blank key even if I lost my keys. Like I can get a blank key n the locksmith can make me one?? Even if I don't have the original one. Like I lost both of mine. Not trying to buy a ignition. Little help thx
Not sure locksmith can be able to make one from blank or not but only those will make who have contacts with dealership.
