JTR slipper clutch HELP

Just installed the jtr slipperclutch from Ben(and a factory pro shift star kit), and have a strange feeling in my clutch lever with downshifts.
Every time i downshift the clutch lever(brembo rcs16) gives a little punch.(no, not in my face)
Is this normal behaviour of the jtr slipper clutch or is there something wrong.
The downshifts are performed on the rearstand and i didn't performed a testride yet.
I installed the clutch according this and didn't forget the thrustwasher behind the basket.
Is it correct that the clutch comes with 3 short and 3 long springs ?
So far the operation of the clutch engagement/disengagement is okay.
Advice needed !! Thanks

I have a Sigma slipper clutch installed and the lever does exactly the same thing on downshifts i.e. The lever jolts away from you slightly.

My understanding is that the springs should all be the same length???

Here is an alternative set of install instructions, take note of the spacer change if you haven't already.

Some Installation Notes

Wingnutt will only be able to help you with spring length since he never actually rides... the clutch lever on his won't ever move.

(I have no advice i just want to talk shit to Tom)

As it seems you re-use all O.E.M. springs

Did your NEW jtr come with springs ?

Yes, 3 x short and 3 x long springs.
This is weird ! my clutch also has 3 holes in the pressure plate.
These are other rc51 images of jtr's.

Here are the different spring lenghts Left= 30mm, mid=40mm who came with the JTR clutch and on the right is the oem ones 58.8mm.
Looks like the short and mid springs wich came with the jtr clutch are shortened..
I really don't know if i can replace them for the oem ones. The spring material diameter is also different stock oem =2.6mm and the jtr are 2.8mm.
Anybody have a clue where to get new JTR springs ? The JTR corse site isn't very responsive...and the last site update is from 2002...
Wingnut, can you tell me the measurements of your JTR springs ?

I gotta ask jetfxr as his worked well with the springs from barnett.

The springs you have are new jtr supplied springs and just so they get installed every other hole they should work fine.

I got mine used and I read the install instructions posted above and only ASSUMED the oem's got re-used I was mistaken.
