by definition is heat from combustion of fuel inside an engine.
(1). Refer again to the pictures from Simonkobe. Those pictures clearly show the blues and yellows are not
caused by riding the bike, as most people seem to think...
(2). THE EFFECTS IN HIS PICTURES ARE FACTORY PRODUCED
- NOT FROM EXHAUST HEAT - but by oxidation coating.

If you were to scratch the coatings off on those beautiful exhausts, the effects shown in Simon's pictures would not return from merely riding the bikes.
You'd ruin the finish using abrasives on them.
This is why Simon mentioned it's recommended to use brake cleaner (Very volatile solvent) and paper towels to clean = No abrasives.
