'The blue and yellow colours of titanium are a coating treatment , they're not as a result of exhaust heat as most people think.
This means if you scratch or polish the coating off, it's permanent.'

this is your first post contradicting everything you are now backpeddling

mrgrn - you previously said self-inflicted's accident was deserved...

...and now you're like two peas in a pod?

Ironic, or is that moronic?

Eh??? - You still don't get it??????????????

No "back pedalling", you fools.

Exhaust heat by definition is heat from combustion of fuel inside an engine.

(1). Refer again to the pictures from Simonkobe. Those pictures clearly show the blues and yellows are not caused by riding the bike, as most people seem to think...

(2). THE EFFECTS IN HIS PICTURES ARE FACTORY PRODUCED - NOT FROM EXHAUST HEAT - but by oxidation coating.
Same meaning as in my words you have put above.

If you were to scratch the coatings off on those beautiful exhausts, the effects shown in Simon's pictures would not return from merely riding the bikes.
You'd ruin the finish using abrasives on them.

This is why Simon mentioned it's recommended to use brake cleaner (Very volatile solvent) and paper towels to clean = No abrasives.

Q.E.D.

You must have a lot of dead tissue between your ears...
https://www.speedzilla.com/forums/rc5...f-vs-rc-2.html

But let's not deflect the conversation any further here. I'm sure if you need reminding of what a tool you have shown yourself to be in the past & present, there are plenty who'd be only too happy to contribute on another thread - in case you forgot.

For now though, let's keep it on subject of this thread.

i don't think that "let's" is correct

https://www.speedzilla.com/forums/689205-post14.html

you have decided to try to deflect and toss insults in this conversation. You also have seriously tried to derail the subject to try to backpeddle your obvious foopa at not knowing half of what you are talking about. whether i am a asshole or not and whether i don't like self matters little in the Fact you made a non factual statement and have just side stepped and back peddled trying to make the earth flat

No matter how many times I explain, it's clear you have a complete inability to absorb or comprehend truth. So you'll continue to believe titanium exhausts will turn their colour through normal engine use and can be sanded down and the effects return by themselves and effects are not put there by factory. These points - also in reference to Simon's pictures you will continue to disbelieve, or think there is only one method to achieve them, namely strong heat. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

As for changing the subject, that's what people who have lost a debate typically do (or they sulk off...), but I'll respond since you're ever ignorant:
English from the UK is spelt differently to English in US. Let's is short for Let us there. It doesn't infer possession in all cases. There are many differences in how the English written language is written, for example - US has taken out "u" in some words and exchanged "z" for "s" in others and dropped "e" at the end of some words. One version came before the other...

this is your first post contradicting everything you are now backpeddling

this sums it all up

i have bought a few ti exhausts b4 that came from the factory that had no blue color and somehow after riding they turned blue with no powder or chemicals imagine that

http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-01-HONDA-CBR-929-RR-EXHAUST-HEADER-PIPE-OEM-NICE-/160685014942?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp= mtr&hash=item256992bf9e

not my old 954 too

http://www.ebay.com/itm/02-03-HONDA-CBR-954-RR-EXHAUST-HEADER-COLLECTOR-PIPE-NICE-OEM-/360402826085?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp= mtr&hash=item53e9aeb365

i remember somehow my 929's OEM headers came silver and again turned blue, how did that happen? honda must have stolen them off the bikes and sprayed coatings on them then

http://www.deksawyer.pwp.blueyonder....n/onbike09.jpg

wonder how these welds are not heat related?

you did not state there were other ways other then heat you they are a coating that is pretty profound and now you shift blame there are other ways

You really are clearly lacking basic intelligence. Refer to my posts and read them again. It's not my job to fix your lack of ability to comprehend basic written English.

Haha, that's hysterical! He used to have a massive bud as his avatar years ago with a tagline "Got Green?" so that may have something to do with his stupidity.
