Can someone show me how they mount....

Their Trunk lock mechanism on their new hotbodies undertail?

Its way down in the middle and I didnt get instructions with mine...

All other RC Undertails I have had have it close to the hinge itself..

Thanks in advance.

If yours looks like mine, then you drill the indented pattern that is the same size as the lock. Put the lock through the hole, threat the nut onto the lock. Really easy.

Ya but it doesnt even seem like the stock cable for the trunk lock mechanism is long enough to reach the predrilled hole in the middle of the tail section.

Do you have ne pics of the inside by chance?

And yes, its the same undertail section. .

Stunna

thanks

Ya, thats perfect!!!

I guess that cable is plenty long and I was just overestimating the distance from that hole to the latch mechanism itself.

Did your guys tail sections come with a little notch cut out of the hole so that the lock would slip right in, or did you guys need to notch your own?

It looks like you cut the wires that lead into the harness that attached to the stock brake lights and then put those crimp connectors on them to attach them. Is that accurate?
