I was actually happy it was raining today. that means the temp comes up and it will be around 50 degrees as I ride to work today, versus the 27 degrees it was last week. riding year round isn't always fun, but unless it's snowing, I'm riding, so F#ck living in the south. I've been there done that, and it's not my cup of tea. besides, we have the aufderhyde freeway here just for starters, and that is our version of the dragon. Not to mention that beautiful wolf creek is right outside my door.......

-But on a more interesting note, what projects do you all have planned for the winter with the down time?
Yea those backroad twisties in central Florida are killa!

I'll be catching up on my home renovations (as usual ), I have a new kitchen to put in and a 6+ yo brand new family room to finish up (it has a structural issue that needed fixing first).
So on that note, if anyone's got any great ideas for kitchen lighting or appliances gimme a shout!

I carve turns all year long -- summer on the RC, winter on Volkl!

Too bad ignorance isn't painful

haha oh man, this winter is going to be expensive.

i have to finish (well not really finish, but at least progress) the rc... gotta install my carbon bodywork as well as pick up my ohlins shock, mori link, kyle clip ons, sato rearsets, marchesini cast mags, and brembo radial master. there are a few other odds and sods i have to get as well, but that's most of it.

and then i also have to get the new race bike ready for the track next year... (fortunately that's mostly little stuff like paint )

yeah no bad weather for us so the mods to my RR have been/ are goin to be fairly minimal

full akro hex exhaust, vortex rearsets, galfer brake lines, full graphics kit, gcraft resevoir, 520 conversion, gilles chain adjusters, HRC 1/6 throttle, pazzo levers, stomp grips, speedo healer, nicky mod, 06 rear shock with HRC wishbone, powdercoat rear swingarm, modded intake, vesrah brake pads, and some new PP 2ct's

and don't get me started on what I plan on doin with the RC
