He's a nice guy, but I find it odd he doesn't have a suspension dyno. I went by his shop a few times before I went to Cogent. He definitely knows what he's doing though.

Dave is a cool guy. He's redone 2 shocks for me now, one for my old YZF750R and the other for this RC. He used to work on the factory Honda race team years back from my understanding and builds many of the custom Ohlins that grace the pages of Superbike mags on custom builds. I'm pretty confident he'll take care of me.

2001 Project bike

Still needs work but I have gottten started on it in the last few weeks. I may have a title problem and may need a frame with a good title.

Don't let you be talked down.
Take the fairings and all loose stuff off, give it a good scrub, and things will look better already.

I have started with much worse looking bikes.
All what counts is the engine being fine.
The rest is mostly hours-hours-hours, and money as much as you want to spend on it.

Good luck!

Bmiller - I'm just funny about getting suspension tuning done without the proper testing equipment. I'm sure he did some cool stuff when he still worked for Ohlins, but no top level racer is going to use someone like that. Not saying anything bad about the guy, just clarifying that the stuff he did when had Ohlins backing him as an employee is a bit different than what he does now out of his two car garage. It's more an install vs a tuning situation.
