Wow that is a nice looking RC51!

Did you have your fork slider tubes coated gold?

Yes, gold coating (TiN) and revalving by WP suspension.

Okay then: headlight is a 100mm Honda VFR400/CBR250 unit (ebay), Honda uses this same unit on RC30/45/51 HRC endurance light sets (used to be on the Slipstream Performance site but no longer there). I made an aluminum bracket to mount it to my Turnone intake, fitted a piece of 100mm PVC tube painted black, had an oem fairing filled in using the orig. lenses and had it painted.

Very nicely done, how did you do the lens? Do you have a steering damper mounted to the left fork leg?

If you mean the oem headlight lenses, my painter cut them from some damaged headlights and used them to fill in the headlight holes.
The piece in front of the headlight on the fairing, i made from a piece of lexan (1 or 2 mm thickness).

No steering damper on the fork leg, mine is in front of the fuel tank like most aftermarket dampers.

Bottom triple is from a German company called BKG (I live in the Netherlands).

BKG Bike Parts - Untere Gabelbrücke mit Joch Honda VTR 1000 SP1/2 4xxxx.

Top triple is from ABM (also in Germany), part of a so-called "Superbike kit".

Home ? ABM.

My SP2 in Japan. Have owned it for 5 years.
Still a few more mods to put on when I find the time to tinker, but she's mostly how I want her to be.

nice bike, couple of ?'s

What engine mods do you have to go with your exhaust?

Also, does your rear shock remote reservoir overheat being so close to the pipes?
