My friends Dad just sold a 84 vette for 7k with 25k miles on it. Looked brand new; I think 40k is a little reach even if it was on the set of the ATEAM.

I saw a TV show documentary years ago that showed that the Corvette and the A-team van among other vehicles used in various TV series on a car rental lot in Los Angeles. When they needed to be used for filming the studio would rent the car and the studio would apply the stripe in the form of removable adhesive decals and then return it to the normal state afterwards.

Somebody is full of shit somewhere...
