Question Quick question: 996 wheels fit on a Monster S4RS?

Thats it, just wondering if both front and rear will fit. Did a search, no joy. Thanks in advance. Happy New Year!

Rear should fit fine, I fitted a forged 6" wide to my s4rs.

Front will "fit", but the rotor spacing is wrong. I believe you'ld need the corsa rotors as the 996 wheel is 6 bolt, whereas the s4rs (any testa bike) is 5 bolt. The 6 bolt corse rotors have the same offset as the newer 5 bolt rotors.

You could also use a spacer, and I happen to know where a few of them are.

PM me for details if you want to go the spacer route (it's 5mm difference).

First , Thanks for the response. I have been away for a bit, hence the delay. What spacer(s) do I need, and if the 996 rotors are already on the wheels will they fit with the radial Brembos on the S4RS. As well as the speedo spacer? Thanks again, Jay

No idea on the speedo bit, but the rotors are a different offset and won't line up correctly (off by 5mm).

PM me your email address and I'll get you in touch with the guy that has made a few sets of spacers.
