What's the value of a 2001 748S?

Thinking of selling the SBK and getting a Monster. The 748 was punched out to a 872 by BCM. Some of the goodies include Axis ductile iron rotors, oil cooler from a 996, Ohlins rear shock, Termi CF 1/2 system, cycle cat rear sets, M/W slipper clutch. Bike has 34k miles and is in mint condition with detailed service records. I'd sell it either with the goodies on it or stock items and sell the aftermarket parts on ebay? Any ballpark numbers?

I would guess with that many miles around $3K. You would be better off parting it out!

Yeah, concur with parting it out...make more $$ that way unless you don't need to sell it and can wait a while.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It looks like I'll be keeping the SBK.

i'd hold out for AT LEAST 5k! i had a 02 748 i sold 2 years ago with an 853 kit, ferraci slipper, 1/2 system and 5 spokes for 5k (oh yeah...it didn't have a title...just a salvage bill of sale!) i think people are just looking for parts. just my 2 cents

I'll decide in the Spring if I want to sell and get a Monster in it's place. No way would I sell for less than 5k and no way part it out. I'll probably end up keeping her forever and get a Monster as well.
