Sad news. The end of an Ducati icon in the midwest. I love this place and everyone there ever since it opened its doors in 2001 and had the Ducati Cafe. So sad http://www.corsesuperbikes.com/
I too was told of this while visiting with them and still can't believe it! Both Sam and Kevin said theres a few things in the works, but for now, it's done as of Oct 20th? I'm soooo bummmed! With the talent of TJ in the back, I'm sure there will be something soon, if not I'll need to start buying some manuals and learning to do a few things!!!
Yes, It Is A Sad Day. Almost Like Pulling The Plug On An Old Friend. This Economy Is A Very, Very, Tough Nut. But Like Sam Said, There Are A Few Things In The Works Right Now. One Door Closes, And Another One Opens. Ciao
Sorry, but I do not have the same sediment. I knew them when they were Hansens' out in Manitowoc and they sucked. I would never take my bike back to them after the screw up they did on mine and on a friend of mines.
A great place for service was Bob Barrs'. After it went under, I took my bike down to motorcycle performance down in Madison. I did not get good vibes from them (kinda stuck up in my opinion), however, they did know their stuff.
As for dealerships in WI, yes, I will agree with that. Hopefully one will open up near me this time.

Well...I am sad to see Corse close down. As a former Ducati dealer myself, I know how hard it can be to keep the doors open, even when things are going "well." THis is not a big money business for sure, and although Virgil had a lot of money tied up in this, apparently it made business sense to just shut up shop. Whatever their foibles may or may not have been, I am sad to see it.
