Default How much is a 2001 750S worth?

Heres the sob story... Last 12,13 years everything going grood at work... promotions, raises, bonuses... went to Iraq 2007-08... came home... more work, less money... meeting in NYC last week, expect to be outsourced by spring... minimum 40% pay cut (After I lay off my whole shop and train our replacements)... ****!

Ducati needs to go so I can save cash to pay the mortgage.

2001 750 Sport (Dark) bought new, runs good, 13K miles, had all service done by shop, tires and chain replaced @ 10K, no major mods... just basic, kickstand bypass and tail section clean up. Also had pipes cored and repacked, look stock but sound nice. very light scrape on side, where kids knocked it over in garage,

What do you think it is worth?

You're not losing any money at all if you sell it, now, are you? Unless you owe money on it, in which case that's probably not a good thing with a bike of that age and mileage.

I'd pay up to maybe $3500 for a decent 750, but above $3000 is probably as best as anyone can do. The color is a minus probably.

No idea what selling it at a loss means in a free market. You'll get what someone is willing to pay within the timeline you need to sell it. And that's exactly what it's worth.

Upside-down on the house... the bike has been paid off for years.

I was just looking for a ballpark market rate, (figure $3,000-3,500)

Thanks for the feedback.
