ohlins fork bottoms

hello, i am upgrading my r/t fg320 forks from axial to radial brakes. i have purchased the motowheels billet fork bottoms. i require either the tools to disassemble/assemble the forks, or a reputable shop that could do the work. thanks scott

In Wa state, I had Gp Suspension north do mine.

Duc shop could do it also.

If you are going to ship your forks regardless, I recommend BCM in Laconia, NH (Leslie Grossman...(603) 524-4898). I know it is a long distance but...

...there may be more to fitting the fork bottoms than you expect. In my case, Ohlins radial fork bottoms were fitted to the R/T forks on my 998R (a rubber "O" ring was slipped on the right fork leg to gauge fork travel before that fork bottom was fitted. Custom spacers were machined to give the proper offset so that when the MotoGP Brembo's were fitted, they were the proper distance with respect to where the pads would contact the rotors. Custom titanium bolts were made (the top one was shorter than the bottom one) to attach the calipers. Finally, custom Spiegler SS black braided brake lines were made to insure the brake lines were the proper length, etc. In addition, BCM was able to fit the speedo cable on the left side so that it still worked...very clever of them.

Their work was absolutely flawless, and to the unknowing, the entire setup looks OEM. Everything works perfectly. Thank you BCM (and Yoyodyne!).
