Default My first Duke!

At last I have taken the great step into Ducati ownership.
Got a 2000 748S with 11k on the clock. Nice and tidy, giving her the once over before I rack the miles up.

Ps, I still have my Honda's.

Very nice. Looks stone stock. Good platform upon which to build to your own specs.

Fun bike, higher reving. Did you get a history on any rocker issues? The 748 was notorius for flaking rockers.

Theres no mention of rockers being touched in the history. I will be getting the belts and valve clearences checked next pay day, so fingers crossed!
Bike is totally stock, I even have the biposto seat as well. I will put on some decent cans and an open clutch when money allows.
I cant stop staring at the bike. I even ate my dinner in the garage the other night, looking at her. Sad I know.

Now all serviced, and clocking up the miles. Cant believe how sweet she turns and stops.
Servicing has made a massive difference, I dont think she has ever had the plugs or air filters changed. Did most of the work myself, but got a pro to check the valve clearences and change the belts. Rockers OK! Have now put on some gold pin striping around the rear number boards to match the front.

She's clean! I eat with mine too (generally I enjoy a frosty cold one more often)
