Default Free to a good home...

Its pissing rain today which means no riding for this fair weather rider.

Figured I'd do an inventory of left over parts from a couple of bikes. Everything I'm listing here is for an '05-'06 999.

Of possible interest to anyone might be a DP carbon fibre full clutch cover. Quality is so-so but it IS carbon therefore MUCH better than stock and worth an easy 5 km/h in top speed.

Also have:
Stock V fairing insert in black.
Stock aluminum right side exhaust heat shield.
Stock plastic countershaft sprocket cover.
Stock right side handlebar switch (starter and engine on/off switch).
Stock rear sprocket (although I can't figure why anyone would want it).
Stock clutch and brake lever - natural finish.
Stock throttle barrel and left grip.
Stock pegs (yes, the slippery ones). No peg brackets.
Stock heel guards.

One request, gentlemen: don't be greedy. If you need any of this, its yours. If you don't, let someone else have it.

All parts are like new so if you need any of this, PM me. Cost of parts is free as is shipping in North America.

Alrighty then...

Got 6 PMs. Naturally, I can't make everyone totally happy but I'll try to make all of you somewhat happy.

All items now spoken for. I'll be sending each of you a PM in the next day or so.

You are a generous dude! I don't need any parts but I figured I would just throw my in. Thanks for making the world a better place.

Dang it, you should have called me and give me the stuff. I was going to put them all on my RC-51, paint it yellow and park in front of Starbucks!

Just for that you're not allowed to ride on the Coast anymore.

But you're ALWAYS parked in front of Starbucks.

Last year I paid dearly for the privilege of riding in your back yard. Cash contributions to the RCMP Benevolent Fund. This year I'm going to ride more like you. I'll never get a ticket then.

I keed!

Actually I do. I'll give you a call.

Its time to insure the fleet so I have wheels to get around town. Don't be surprised if I show up on my Aprila SR50 though. Gotta go green you know.

Ya, I know some of those guys. I told them I'd buy a round for anyone handing out tickets to a red 999s.
