thanks guys, just a thick vented cover for track days. the guy that im using is a perfectionist so im excited to see them, hopefully soon. dry clutch ducati's and sedici's coming
remember, im not making a hundred of these or anything. if i was i would have more leverage and per peice would be lower. boils down to how long i can keep the guy busy, if i keep him going for a week or more making stuff (not desighn and fixture fab) he would be able to give me a deal. im making 20 for the ducks and 10 for the sedici
and ill include a sticker

Glad to hear you're making a thick one. Most are so thin you could dent them with a light foot kick. Is the depth greater than stock for clearance to spring retainers? The Woodcraft I put on mine clears them by about .040. They include a nifty POS 'skid shoe' with it that bolts from the inside. These bolts wouldn't clear the springs which if I started it would have sheared the posts.
its basically the same as all of them for clearance. the problem your having is you dont have a slipper! the slipper does not hang out as far so plenty of clearance with those bolts you were talking about
I think Woodcraft expects you to re-use the spacer/rubbergasket. Had the same thing happen here.
So Travis, when can I expect my super fab-u-luss clutch cover to arrive?
Can you make it electropolished in an anodized black?
Can you put my new alter-ego's name on it? I'm trying to come up with something fitting...so far I have a few ideas like: Sar-Caustic, Parts Nazi, Rocker Slayer, and Clayton's idea was "That Asshole Jeremy"
i was going to anodise them black, thought about electro polishing then anodise but well see on price. im sure i could do a one off as im not building all of them at ounce. itll cost ya though
dolla dolla bill ya'all
So two dollars then? I'm not good with slang. Some nice gentleman at the club last week said they wanted to holler at my girl, I told them she makes me want to scream sometimes too.
thats cool, ive had a lot of people ask for more open spots but in all fairness speedy moto has the market covered for awsome street covers. i just wanted to make a thick track cover with venting from front to back to cool the clutch and protect the springs in a crash(to a point). originally started as one of my great customer/freind wanted one for his sedici and the place in europe was the only choice, it was just the thing to set me over the edge and do them. i contacted him this morning about putting some devil horns on the D like i do with a bunch of things, the font is installed in the machine not in the drawing i think so i dont think so. could always lazer etch it then anodize it
Well said. Was just having fun in photoshop anyways.
Your design is pretty pure and will look good either way
However if you go the effort to lazer etch you may want to consider exploring some more details to throw on there? Props for getting your own stuff machined
