+1 for the FrenTubo. Great lines and very good support from them when the kit they sent me was wrong (they sen a new one at no extra cost and in just 3 days).

As for the line configuration, It doesn't really matter (I stayed with the oem config, just upgraded the lines with FrenTubo ones). But what's been said about the cooling the fluid effect of the lines is indeed right and it does make a difference when racing. A big one too.

Yes, that was my question... I was wondering if there would be much cooling effect on the fluid since there is little movement of the brake fluid up and down the brake line. I mean, it's not like the brake fluid actually circulates through the brake lines, it just moves a very little distance, and I didn't think it moved enough fluid out of a hot caliper into the line such that cooling would be significant..... just asking.....

ive had great luck with speiglar but i always get custom lines. personally like to make them with a t at the lower tripple so you dont have a stack of 2 banjo's at the master.

Demontech, OMG! Did we just became best friends?

That's exactly the same way I had Mattias make my last brake line kit (and Jarel's). Mount the "T" to the lower triple. It's more dough, but it's so clean. And single banjo bolts everywhere for that last few micrograms! Did I mention I'm in love with the rotating fittings. I get all hyped up about it and everyone gives me the blank look, like I'M THE CRAZY ONE? Nothing crazy about super-sano brake line routing with the least possible locations for leaks and moisture invasion is there? And less line for lighter weight. Finally I have RS bike photos to validate my frothing at the mouth!

WHO'S CRAZY NOW WORLD?!?

I know they are just brake lines but it's sort of a sickness.

right! you get the all. banjo's and the all. bolts in your choice of colors(mine is black line, black banjo, black bolts)
then as you said, mount it up then turn the lines so they dont coil up or rub on parts. they are very quick for custom setups also.
just make sure you measure right!
i built a set up for the 1098 to get rid of the loop for one but mostly to get rid of the double banjo on the right caliper. removing this is a pain and if your calipers are dirty then your going to jam dirt against the piston bore

Seems like you´re very close to my color liking. Sunny, happy, lovely... black .

I didn´t know they made them with swivel fittings, that´s why mine move... I thought they were broken or something




To add something productive: I also run the T setup. 1 banjo at the master, brake line splitting at the lower clamp. It was so easy to bleed, I was completely amazed.
