Need to make a slight change.

Due to an overwhelming amount of entries this week we have to move the event a block away from the original location. We ran out of room under the amphitheater. We will now have our own Ducati Island sorta say. The event will be held across the street from JP Cycles. About 100 feet from the original location.

Daytona Ducati is also hosting a VIP cocktail party after the event. Besides the Ducati execs and judges all participants in the show will get a pass. You can bring one guest. Passes will be given out with your confirmed bike contest number and entry form.

Directions did not change. Continue toward Destination Daytona and when you see JP Cycles on your right our event will be directly across the street. Look for the Ducati flags on your left. I tried to map out an areal view to make it easier. We're about 6 weeks away, please continue sending your entry forms, we are filling up pretty fast but now that we have more room we can double our capacity.

How long do you think that engine will last? My guess it's a grenade waiting to happen...

well this was incredible event. We had 33 entry's, a 170 hp 1098, a 130 hp Hypermotard Bayliss, and a 203 hp 1098R and a Desmosedici. We have tons of pics, videos of the 203 HP 1098R and the Desmosedici.

We had over a 1000 spectators come and go. Our Ducati Island was PACKED. Next year we'll have to find a bigger spot. From what I heard it went pretty well, ran a little late. 2 of our judges were running a little late. Other then that it went right on schedule. Some were bitching they should have gotten the trophy but hey, thats how it goes. I've been disappointed in the past not winning after I put a ton of work into a project.

I'm also looking for input on what we can change next year to make it even better. Hope everyone had a good time. You now have a year to prepare for the next one.

Thanks for all my volunteers, participants, judges, the guys that ran the Dyno truck, and Shelly at Destination Daytona for letting us have a large enough space so we can hold our event. I'm posting lots of links with the pics and videos, go through them and enjoy. See you next year.

Great videos. Very curious why it appears the owners of their motorcycles were allowed to run through the gears on the dyno. Shouldn't only trained techs do all the dyno pulls? It seems the owner of the desmosedici couldn't get started and almost sounds like there was a lot of slipping between the drum and the rear tire.
