I'm rethinking on selling my 01 748s again lol

Well, I am thinking of getting rid of my 01 748s to get a 999s. I want to keep my 748s, but I need the extra money for the down payment.

The bike is stock. It only has C/F Arrow slip ons and some C/F pieces tank protector and key protector. The heels and rear hugger are C/F but are cracked cause I tighten the heels too much, and when I changed the chain it was too short and it was rubbing against the tired when I was on it lol.

It has 20,800 miles on it. The engine was rebuilt @ 18000 miles by Fresno Ducati. Everything is new in the engine, but the pistons because nothing was wrong with them. The engine was rebuilt due to a rod bearing seizing up.

I'm going to take new pictures tomorrow. This ones are like 5 months old.





THE GAS CAP WAS REPLACED WITH THE STOCK GAS CAP. THE STOCK GAS CAP HAS A C/F COVER.

Oh, it also has brand new Michelin Pilot Powers now.

I'm not really sure how much to sell it for. I know it has a lot of miles for being a Ducati. I was thinking around $5,500.00 for it. What do you guys think?

you might want to hold out for at least 6k if you are going to sell it, its very clean and it is an S model. What does KBB list it at? Are you going for a new 999s or a 03 or 04 used one, i have seen a few around that look good.

That would make a really nice bike for someone... I like it. Plus, bikes with high mileage have more character.

KBB is $9045.00, and I didn't even know it was that high. I guess $6k sounds good. We'll see what happens since I'm still not sure if I am going to sell it yet. I really like it, but I want more power.

I might just end up getting the 853 kit for it and make it a track bike. I wan't a 05 999 or 999s. I like the black rims and the red/black frame Either way, if I sell the 748 or not I'm getting the 999. I didn't like it at first, but my friend got a 04 999, and we installed the Termi, ecu, filters, and it sounds awsome, and its grown in me as well.

Or if I can find a used 04 999 or 999s with an exhuast full/half/slip ons on it for the right price I might go for that.

Can all the stickers be taken off?

Yeap, all the stickers are on the clear coat and not under it. I did it this way so I can install different sticket kits every summer
