Default happy trees and fun with the ebay children (beware of ebay seller: cns25)

Thought this may be of some humor to you guys.

So I was doing my weekly ebay duc part browsing and came upon this neat little offering.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...90597

For those too bored to look it's a Sach (crap) rear shock for a 748/9XX being advertised as an Ohlins. So myself, being prone to the occasional flame, issued the follow 'question' to the seller:

It's not an ohlins genious, it's a sachs. Just keep it and use it as a boat anchor, door stop, etc.

The seller didn't appreciate my little bit of negative humor, so he issued this back to me within 30 minutes:

this is a ? section not a something from the peanut gallery section smart ass so next time email someone that gives a sh*t!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, he asked for anyone who gives a chit so if this makes any of you feel like messing with yet another ebay trash seller, then be my guest and toy with him further.

BTW this guy's ebay username is 'cns25' so you may want to steer clear of someone who issues crap auctions like this

Yeah the high bidder has a feedback of 0 so that may be him. If it is then he is going to really love me by now since I just sent a warning to the high bidder. The high bid is at ~$75. Who in their right mind would pay $75 for a Sachs shock.

Also send a fraud alert email to ebay. We'll see if a human actually reads it and takes care of it. Somehow I doubt it.

I just sent him this question:

Do you know what weight this Ohlins shock is for? I am 325 pounds. Would it work okay for me?

Lets see what he says back. I am sure he will say it will work perfectly.

Note: I am not 325 lbs. (Not that there is anything wrong with that. )

Got another response from the guy just now. This is after I emailed him to tell him I was reporting his misleading auction to ebay.

SINCE YOUR SO WORRIED ABOUT MY HONEST MISTAKE AS YOU CAN TELL BY MY
FEEDBACK COMPARED TO YOURS I'M A HONEST GUY WHO MADE A MISTAKE AND WAS
WONDERING IF YOU WOULD BE SO KIND TO CHECK MY OTHER DUCATI ITEMS TO
MAKE
SURE THEY PASS YOUR APPROVAL!!!!! THANKS NEIL

So he's taking the boo-hoo-for-me approach now. I have an ebay feedback of 25 with one negative about 2 years ago. I guess I need to resign myself as one of the ebay unwashed.

Give me a break, 'honest mistake'? Hello cleaver, it says SACHS on the shock body, not OHLINS on the reservoir. I think my fiance, who can't tell the difference between a Buick and a Honda, could make that differentiation.

Boy, he sounds like a bright one too, judging by his superior handle of the english language.

He killed the auction. Good-riddance chump!

BTW if anyone comes to this late, what you won't see on this now defunct auction, is that people had bid up this sachs, advertised as an ohlins, up to about $75. That's would have to be an all-time high price for an used ebay sachs.
