Yes second that motion. The pix are awesome pierre, congratulations!

But a web preview of 800x600 px would have been more efficient

Sorry, but I really do not have no time to reduce pictures size. After 1 day off work to enjoy Milan, 10 hours cars driving from Lyon to Milan and back, I just putted all the pics "as is" on the web page when coming back home to give you the pics... and slept less than 6 hours this night before going back to work.

A scoop, from a factory engineer answering my question about the DTC - Ducati Traction Control - provided on the 1098 R : the DTC will be installed on the Desmosedici RR as well, as an aftermarket upgrade, later in 2008 : the factory prefers not to delay the delivery of the so-awaited Desmosedici RR, but will install it for free (how to make diferently for buyers of a $65,000 bike compared to a $ 40,000 1098 R) during the 3 years maintenance program.

DTC includes sensors on the 2 wheels and an upgrade of the ECU : on the 1098 R the ECU is preloaded with 8 maps, to adapt the engine curves to every track condition (similar to the new Suzukis which have 3 maps)

I mention that my Desmosedici RR will bedelivered March 2008, confirmed last week by a letter from Ducati France. Less than 6 month, yes

That magnesium swingarm on the 1098 is sick! The US doesn't have sh*t on Milan!!!!

Hey Pierre, does the MV F4 Interceptor jet ski have a V8 engine?!?! Am I reading that correctly on the placard?

Magnesium swingarm is for sale here (Monaco) : ' Best RAM swingarm suspensions, wheels, BST, Marchesini, OZ'

The MV Jet ski has a 2000 cc 320 hp V8 made with 2 paired F4 engines.
You can see it's "testarossa" here, covered by a transparent plastic fairing:

Do you imagine if MV would put that engine in a bike ???
