Default 848, 1098 R, new Mostro

All new models are on Ducati.com.

For me, the new Mostro 696 is ugly

I like some things about it. The headlight, gauge cluster, mirrors and turn signals look really good to me. I also like the exhaust... the aftermarket will have lots of cool exhausts for that no problem.

I'll have to see the frame and swing arm in person before I can say much about it.

The Monster design sucks ass. Sorry, but not what I would spend money on.
A pity...

Game on I reckon it is cool, like anything you can take the hacksaw to it and personalize it, nothing is perfect.

Good move stepping outside the box a bit more

1098R - This bike is rocking but I do not have 40k..

848 - Now this is the sleeper bike of the bunch - 369lbs and on par to a 999.. My 999S has enough to scare the piss out of me so this bike should be even better. Wish it had a "dry" clutch. Think I'll have to call the Ducati dealship and put my money down.

Monster - OK. Doesn't yank my crank like the S4RS! That pearl white was amazing! I hope the 848 is that white..

Either way I rate this as a winning year for Ducati in more ways than one! Guess I'll be broke the rest of my life..

Is the MSRP on the R model 40K or is that speculation? I couldn't find it on the website.

You know I largely ride mountain roads and never really felt I needed any more than my 749s offered.

But the 848 is really taking my eye!

20kg lighter than a 999,5kg lighter than the 749. 30% more power than the 749. Wet clutch but retains that fantastic desmo valve train music. more refined motor, even better handling. Man how good can it get???

I think I am finally making my mind up as to which bike is to be my next!
