I get whacky ideas like that too sometimes but I snap out of it before it is too late usually.

If you put Ducati stickers on it, people will probably give you the 'ol bar of soap in a sock treatment.

Sounds like a great idea. Would be a very cool project. But, at the same time, it sounds like your plan would cost way more (in time, money, and effort) than just finding an RC frame off ebay or from a salvage yard, and sticking your donor motor into it.

Is the bike a clean title?

Why would you want to go and mess that up? Buying a blank frame isn't as expensive as you would think. I crashed my r6 in a race and on ebay frames were going for 3,000, I bought a new blank for 1000 and stamped my clean title numbers on it.

Sounds like a lot of work to make it fit and for what benefit?

Correct answer...

(Just be sure you have the headstock with your numbers off the old frame to turn in for the new "unstamped" frame... )
