Default Better "O" Rings?

I've been having oil seeping/leak problems with my 900/966SS engine build for the last few years. I have changed out all "O" rings at least 4 times; this usually works for awhile then leaks return. Since this is a track bike engine see's constant high rpm use so I figure the stock "O" rings were not made to withstand the temp's and pressure and eventually give.

My question of course is if anyone out there has an alternative to the stock "O" rings.

What are you using for a crankcase breather? That could be restricting flow and creating too much pressure in the cases pushing the oil out.

At the engine I use my stock breather attached to that I have a large diameter hose that runs up under the tail section with a small K&N filter on the end. I would like to run the stock set up but I do not have an airbox due to short manifolds and single carbs....... any ideas?

It appears that the cylinders have been re-Nikasilled, therefore the core plugs have been replaced. I would suspect those as the culprit.
You can also take a small amount (0.1 mm) from the cylinder or head to tighten the compression on the 'O' rings. Measure to be sure they are the right dimensions.
Those green 'O'rings are silicon, I think, but they don't get hard like the old Viton ones. I don't think it's a material problem, more likely a dimensional problem.

same as what dug said. I chased a leak between head/barrel for an eon. changed the O-rings like three times. It's those pesky plugs and there easy to do just hard to get the right size. They look like a mini freeze plug made out of brass.
