Default Eh

I have seen those before, he posts on the .ms forum. I tried to keep my bike on a more classic Tricolore scheme. Thats how it should be done if one does it at all. My paint job is less than perfect but my influences came from the fore fathers of my bike and not an Icon jacket. I never did give my opinion on that 1098's paint scheme but oh well here goes.

The Green used: WTF!
The Gold: One of the things they could have left off the original 1098 IMHO. Its not helping the above bike at all...
The Red: Hey its Duc red cant find a fault with that but it would have been better in a less ricey way.

The whole paint scheme itself is a bit too ricey for me. The paint work is very professional thats a gimme but the thought put into it was not inspired by Ducati to me. The different colored mirrors; arrgh!, the wheels; arrrgh! Should have stayed black on them IMO. The only thing missing is flames but I am sure he gets enough of those on the forums. (stoking the fire again )

Wow. Looks like you put a lot of work into it. Very clean. Personally a little busy for my tastes. But very sharp livery, nonetheless.

Thumbs up I like it!

Very well done. Kind of reminds me of a Bimota scheme - but modern.

I actually prefer it to the factory Tri-Colore paint scheme.

Looks way to much like Collen Edwards Honda RC51 Castrol Bike of years past....cool, but not on a Ducati! Looks like a bunch of time into it, but not to my liking! BUT hey to each his own....it's still a cool bike!!!!

Yup and damn proud of them! They got better this year, 1/2 inch on the left and 3/4 on the right but this was my second season of riding in my life. I did the MSF in May of 2006 and only was able to put 1k on her that year. This year I put 5K on her which is more than many Duc owners can say is their total mileage and its the first year I really got to ride as much as I wanted (bought the bike when my son was just 1 yrs old) so don't expect an instant Casey Stoner. Plus I am 41 so I dont squid it like most of my younger riding friends. Honestly I really dont need to make any excuses to you since you dont know me, so French Fry.

how did you put any miles on her last year, the bike just came out this year

squidding around has nothing to do with chicken strips, more riding, less painting

Stop trying to make sence of what mrgrn is saying. We quit trying long time ago.

What is your rationale? What do chicken strips have anything to do with painting a bike? Do chicken strips make you less of a rider. Or custom painted bikes shouldn't have chicken strips?

I have seen plenty of jap bikes tricked to the hilt; chrome, flames, metal flake with fatter chicken strips. So why does it matter?

Mr Grn - Make an appointment with your doc he need to up the doses of your psych meds!

please stop using the word "Jap" to describe japanese bikes, it is a racial slur and i take offence to it.

i could care less about the chicken strips really. it was just funny looking at some guy with a fancy paintjob making fun of another guy with a fanct paintjob both with chicken strips, he was a acting hypocritical and i was bustin his chops and this section is a bunch of tight wad panties in a twist guys for the most part with no spine that get all riled up over anything said about a duke. i happen to think both the bikes paint jobs look like fuggin candy canes and it is quite amuuuuzing to say the least, and half the other people here think the same and have no ballz to say it

Lets see here you like to make fun of "tight wad panties" but if someone says Jap you get offended.

HMMMM.... I call my Japanese friends Japs. I get called "White Devil" "Craker" and "Kraut" and it does'nt bother me. It kinda goes back to what my mom taught me as a kid. "Sticks and stones may break my bones but WORDS will never hurt me!"

Get off the PC bandwagon!

Your confused! Your opinion of a bike's owner as "tight wad panties" and in your eyes what I said is a racial slur. Your sensitive to "racial" issues but its ok to call some one a panty! If your offended by Jap anything as a derogatory statement you should not be calling anyone names! Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house!!! If I was easily offended I would not appreciate being called a panty

I rest my case!

And yes the first bike makes me think of a Transvestite Transformer!
