I thought some of you might enjoy this video. I sold the Gp Due I built to a customer of Dean from Diamond Corsa in Cincinnati the tall guy in the video. His customer decided he didn't want it so they sold it to another guy. Anyway Dean just putting it back together to deliver next week and that's why the belly pan is off because it scrapes putting it in his trailer. Anyway he posted this video so you get a chance to hear it. Maybe the last time I do anyway.
I can't see the vid as it's blocked at work but I saw this beast running out at Grattan (hopefully I'm thinking about the same bike) with Etter on board and it was very impressive to say the least.
Sounds great! Perk of custom made exhausts are that you can do a bit of tweaking with the sound and routing.
Did you do anything to lighten the internals of the engine so it would rev easier? (I'm already assuming it has Guy's headwork)
I should go make a video or two of a few of my bikes -- sound somewhat the same (and I use mine on the street regularly) -- but they don't rev quite as easily as yours does...

Yea just about everything. I can tell you what I didn't change or lighten easier than what I did. It still has the steel shift drum and the steel shafts for the shift forks. I think that's it. Everything else is lightened. Actually I think I would probably put the heavy flywheel back on as the engine would decelerate so fast as to put an extra burden on the slipper. Sometimes you can go too far. I sweated every gram I could do something about. Everything was bored polished ot replaced with titanium, aluminum, magnesium, carbon or plastic whatever it took to go lighter. Ever heard of anybody replacing the steel oil relief valve? I did. How about the brass seal plugs for the ignition wires that go though the case? Made those from Delrin.
That's still, by far, the coolest bike I've ever gotten to ride! I have a little "tribute" video I made for Alex from some footage at Grattan a few years ago after I got to ride it. Of course, I was terrified of crashing a one-of-a-kind masterpiece........ so I wasn't exactly pushing it to its limits, but it was still obvious how good the bike works.
