Hey man, calm down please. I did not spoil who won the race, how Ducati pilots, Rossi, Pedrosa, Hayden etc finished it, OK ?

You ought to learn how to behave on a forum before moderators teach you.....the hard way.

I've nothin against you "3 post newbie", but don't piss us off anymore.

3 posts, 3 strikes.....not very clever.

A last time: be cool.

Guess that would mean that Stoner won or rossi had a total shit ride/crash....thus Stoner & Ducati are Champion.

But yeah putting that up just gives it all away, just a matter of the fine details.
guess i dont have to wait till 5pm Estern time to know now.

So yeah you just ruined it for some people, including myself Thank you.

Default Dave - Please kill this thread

I know this will come as a shock to some of you, but the OP violated the rules of the board by posting an indicator on the outcome of a race or series. Parsing the words or being clever by thinking you're okay since you didn't post a name doesn't change the fact that you gave away the results. You did, so stop being cute in your defense.

And El Glad - stop threatening people with banning. The reason for this specific rule is people get emotional.

Dave - please kill the thread before anyone else has the surprise ruined for them.

I can agree that it is not nice with a title like this but as we all know. As long as Stoner is finishing in front of Rossi, Stoner is the champion.

The only thing the title sais is that Stoner is the champ and that means that Rossi did not finish in front of Stoner and due to this Rossi can not have been winning the Race so we know for sure That Rossi did not win. Thats all we know.

I did not see the race. I dont know the result but I will watch it when I am coming home after work.

jocke.........

I think if one does not want the race "spoiled" then one should avoid all forms of media until one gets a chance to watch the race. I for one will not go to any message boards, watch sporting news, and make sure my buddies who may watch know before hand not to spoil it, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I take responsibility for making sure I don't find out results, not going to message boards bashing those who post results. Kind of ridicules if you ask me.

I had to tape a race this summer and came home while it was still running, I stayed in the garage till my wife ensured me race was over and rewound the tape.

Like babies?

Is it a good reason to hush up people? i think there are rules on all forums dealing with that...

Yup, this hasn't ruined it for me whatsoever, just added a nice pic to my desktop, thank you. Anyone who didn't see Stoner winning the title can't do basic math. So someone got a little too excited and missed putting a disclaimer on one post. If it was a regular occurence let the mods handle it, even now the mods can change the title if necessary but otherwise he/she hasn't ruined it for you. The race results aren't there and it was a foregone conclusion that Stoner was going to win the title. Grow up.

Stoner didnt have any guarantee to win the championship, If his ass got taken out on the start of the race like certain people last year or his ass crashed and he died like Kato, he would of all but lost the title, stranger shit has happened.

Either way, Now i can begin on the new episode of E-Story on Valentino Rossi....Going to be awesome

Take a look at the points gap at this time last season. How many people have died in the modern era of Moto GP? Then rethink this statement.

Barring death I doubt anyone considered the title going to anyone but Stoner or did you just lose a big payoff pool.

As I said before, I'm not condoning the results in the title but lets not act like it was a big suprise.

If Ducati hadn't clinched it this weekend, I would have been surprised.

Can I advise everyone who is trying to keep the race results from spoiling their viewing of the tape-delayed broadcast....

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW, DON'T LOG ON TO SPEEDZILLA BEFORE YOU WATCH IT!!!

Holy crap, and I thought I had low willpower to stay away from checking the new posts here...

Ya know, If I was waiting for TV coverage of a race and I didn't want someone to divulge the results,,, maybe I wouldn't click on a motorcycle forum.

Pretty simple theory huh?

Agree with this entirely, everytime a win and someones enthusiasm takes over maybe a little prior to thought but it is not the end of the world and not a hanging offense.

You whingers know it will be on here so harden up and drop the element of surprise and shock .

If you plan on watching the race on motogp.com after it is completed, you WILL know the outcome from the second the home page loads...
