How do you know he didn't send it?

Maybe your buddy Mondail didn't share with you the exact same thing happening to him.

The missing wheel has landed(Re: Scott CBR400RR)

Couldn't find the original thread where he was screaming bloody murder about it all, yet you can at least see the fact that his item arrived. Granted it took a long time, but through no fault of the seller. And to add injury to insult he had caused a huge issue jumping the gun with PP too.

Although, can't imagine he didn't refer you to his experience seeing as i pointed it out in his posting then all went dead.

I don't know this guy, and who knows...maybe your parts were never sent. But unless you have proof of that then your simply venting frustration with it taking so long to get your part. If your parts weren't sent then i certainly hope it gets resolved amicably, yet i can't see how calling someone names and cursing at them will resolve anything. And if you didn't pay extra for shipping the item where it can be tracked, then being in the dark really falls on you.

Can't help but think back on my experiences(i.e. frustrations) with shipping to AU.

In case you aren't aware of this your country's post/customs is notoriously inept. At least when it comes to delivery of international shipments. The only reason they can find their asshole is because their heads are firmly implanted within. Have sent stuff Global Express from the U.S. with a 3 day delivery guarantee, and the package disappeared from the computers after leaving the U.S.(the same day i dropped the package off for shipping). The package was completely lost to the ether and never showed up in anyone's computer until it hit the destination 3.5 weeks later. Stuff sent priority.....forget it! Have had items not get delivered for 8-10 weeks when it should have take 2 weeks max. One time it took over 4 months. I wont go on about how dysfunctional trying to get a package delivered over there, but as mentioned earlier your boy certainly knows. This is why i'm reluctant to cast blame with such little time going by and ZERO proof. I say little time as relative to how long it normally takes.

I'll ask you the same thing i asked mondial.....when did you send payment? When you paid for the item did you spring for the "express" shipping which is the only way to confirm some sort of limited tracking? Not that the Aus. Post could find anything on their end if their own life depended on it because tasks like this seem to fall into the category of "that's not my job" when trying to get any help from over there. If you only sprung for regular priority shipping then you could be waiting for a very long time.

The best you can do is just stay on your local post office and have them try to trace it down. If not lost somewhere in the postal system chances are it is sitting at customs as someones temp. coffee table or foot stool. I can certainly feel ones frustration with it all, and i hope it all works out in the end. Just remember the vitriol espoused today may be the sauce on the crow one might find themselves having to eat later.

Wow, and to think Mondial was griping about GPCommander earlier? How quickly some people forget who the shitbag used to be.

Varium

After payment was made which was immediately. i waited for 3 days and then requested a tracking number. I got no response. I tried everyday to contact him but stil no response. I contacted paypal. They got the response from him that he couldnt send it until he had my phone number, so i sent it to him. No call and no response. Paypal has not been able to contact him since. He stated to me that he would pay for the insurance fro the parcel as it was $1160 AUD and he didnt want anything to happen to it. This was 5 weeks ago and i havent seen or heard anything . So while he might be a nice bloke to some of you guys, he has dealt me a shitty hand for what ever reason and now i will be happy to get my money back. I have no trouble using the internet for purchases as i have 5 SP'S sitting in the garage which a lot of the performance parts have come from the net. So i will call a spade a spade and this guy is just a tool. will have to get someone to buy something via ebay just to **** up his perfect score. Karma is a bitch

The fact he hasn't responded to threads about his conduct makes his silence deafeningly LOUD. The guy is a rip off artist. No doubt about it.

Jami, you need to get a better perspective on things.
Can you honestly say that you haven't screwed something up in your life?
You guys are an exceptional lot.

V, apparently, you aren't able to move on with your life, when you need to resort to this sort of behavior.
It's not surprising to see that some of you still have concerns about this.
You need to move on.
Obviously, anything that one can do to try and rectify a situation, does not bode well with a small minority of you guys.
And V, the original thread was removed because it infringed on the forum policy.
Obviously, back in the day, when Dave controlled it, he found that particular thread to be very personally threatening.
I don't see any of you guys posting any personal details of anyone here, because you all know, that is not the thing to do.
Either way, i was trying help a friend out, which apparently, some of you find it a little odd.

Bro, no one cares about them scores. MrGrn has a great rating, but you'd have to be a fool to buy from him.

But to be clear, I do hope you get your pipes.

Im not going to take sides here or talk bad about anyone, just gonna tell you my story..

I did deal with GPCommander recently. He had some used galfer wave rotors for sale, I paid him via paypal and he had sent them out in a timely manner with inc and tracking info. Problem was that they were not for a RC51 and I should have checked the part numbers but we talked on the phone for like an hour just shooting the shit that I didn't think anything of it.

When I received the rotors and matched them up to the oem I knew something was wrong so I called him and he said to send them back to him and I will get you brand new ones cause he was a sponsored racer with galfer and would make good on the deal, and would send a tracking number on the following Monday cause it was Friday evening.

long story short I waited a week before I tried calling him, didn't get a answer, so I filed a claim with paypal at 6am on Wednesday morning, buy 6 pm the same day I had a tracking number from galfer so I called to confirm that they were being sent to me and that's when I sent out the ones he sent to me.. his excuse for not calling me back was that he left his phone in his car, he is a pilot for a major air line so it could be that he is not in town idk but I am glad I have new rotors and conciser myself lucky.. Hope you get you get what you paid for, good luck

I sold the Ladybird unit to an Aussie and it did take 20+ days to get there so I know it takes time when sent the cheapest way from the US.

The guy may have been hit by a car as well. Who knows I guess, it's been at least 7 months since I got burned on an internet sale but I'm sure everything will work out in the end.

Carbon Sp-1... do not be mad because of 1 non country member. I had to beg uk sellers to deal with me. One set of cans/headers was bought right before some big Iceland volcano eruption. They took over a month to get here to the US. I have dealt all over the world with sellers. Gotta love the internet. I look at it like gambling sometimes I may lose. I am curious myself to see how this turns out. 5 bikes nice.... I do believe in general this seller is hard to get a hold of.
I hate that almost half of the time I agree with Jami. ugh Now off to bed, I got a 65 mile bicycle ride in the morning.

Is it easier to dumd down or smart up?
Just think how much faster the internet would be without porn.

Missing the point Dude!!!

Your missing the point!!!!! No contact in 6 weeks since i paid by paypal. Promised insurance and tracking number. If he has sent it??? why avoid me and not comply with paypal's requests to contact me or provide shipping order details. The guy is just a phuck knuckle who deserves to have paypal and ebay privileges removed. I have never jerked anyone around like this guy has done to several people.
