Interesting.
How many found at ALL crime scenes were NOT linked to F&F? Inquiring minds need to know.

Are you saying that ALL firearms at crime scenes were provided courtesy of the ATF??

No, I'm not.
Buffoon.

What I'm saying is that .00000685% of the total guns (the ones from F&F) is a drop in the ocean. A drop that could yield gallons of intel and a few busts. Of course you focus on the negative. Why is that a common conservative trait these days? Oh, right, you hate.

Maybe since I have spent a career actually in law enforcement I have a perspective that counts here. If this was on the other foot, and GWB was the President that authorized this, the libs like yourself would be going nuts about this.

No cop worth a damn would have done anything like this, this was a political hack job by career politicians and deserves to be examined thoroughly. Hopefully by a grand jury.

Yes, it should be examined. Everything should.

My take on this was it started as another vieled attempt to ban firearms, by showing how many of "our" guns end up on the other side of the border. When the sh1t hit the fan holder, oh-bomb-us et all tried to deny involvment. Full investigation with people in charge held accountable is due. Maybe if our borders were secured, we wouldn't need to worrry about gun smugglers.....Just a thought.

A good example of right-wing paranoia, everyone. Just saying.

And FYI, who saw Calderon's tour of Mexico on PBS? I think he said 90% of the assault weapons in Mexico come from U.S. gun shops. The percentage that came from F&F? Probably again under 1%. You guys seem to like these low percentage arguments for some reason. Must be desperation.

Calderon isn't much for telling the truth...much like our own politicians. Nice try. 90% is not a substantiated number. Its the same lie Obama and Clinton tried to push while Calderon dressed down our Congress. Calderon won't release serial numbers to our ATF from the weapons seized on the Mexican side so how is this claim even remotely valid?

Did he mention how many weapons are from his own Mexican Military? How many are from overseas?

More good news, the Obama administration was actually buying "Fast and Furious" weapons being sent to Mexico. Looks like the Congressional hearings will keep going, hopefully to the appointment of a special prosecutor since Eric Holder is up to his ass in bullshit stories.

You have a serious case of the dumb ass, don't you. You and your kind, and yes I mean socialists, will **** up a ball bearing in a sand pit with a rubber hammer if left to your own devices. A friggin' mexican that can't control his own country telling us it our fault? Give me a damn break. The amount of guns that come from the US and go to Mexico to be used by the cartels can be measured the same way as your brain... miniscule at best. Now STFU and go back to your bong, or whatever ya'll do out there.

Imagine that, a redneck "pro"hunter calls me a socialist. Oooo! Like I have your irrational fear of socialists. But Pat Robertson, now he scares me.

So, I did some checking and turns out that the 90% number is 90% of those weapons sent back to the U.S. for verification, not of the total weapons seized in Mexico. The actual number that came from U.S. shops in 2007-2008 was 5,114, a hell of a lot of guns, many of which can easily be converted to full auto.

The bigger problem is the overseas black market in arms. Makes me wonder what al Qaeda is shopping for or has already bought.

Bong? Did you say bong? Good idea. See ya.

If Mexico is not fully cooperating with ATF/FBI about the serial numbers of the weapons seized in Mexico, there are no verifiable numbers to attach to this. All the talking heads, Calderon, Obama, Clinton and others were running around citing that 90% of the weapons seized in Mexico were of US origin with ZERO proof.
Calderon has been lying through his teeth about this since day 1. Now since Obama/Holder got caught running guns that the ATF purchased into Mexico to support their claims, sure, there are US guns in Mexico.
Until we get cooperation from Obama/Holder with the Congressional hearings into "Fast/Furious", we won't know how many weapons went to Mexico.
This is becoming Obama's watergate....every day it gets worse...despite the stall tactics, information is slowly coming out.

Yeah, right. How many times have I heard something similar to "this is Obama's Watergate"? Keep hoping. Post up the link that says Obama approved OFF. Even if he did there are still justifiable reasons for doing it. But I'd wait for the investigations to conclude to say anything more. You, you're ready to lynch a black man right now...the sooner the better. Nice guy.

Where did you get the idea that Mexico isn't supplying serial numbers? I must have missed that. As far as I know the guns sent to the U.S. had numbers. The guns not sent were not sent for other reasons - like they were obviously made in Israel, for instance. Yeah, this needs a thorough investigation for sure.

Well what do you know.... The story unravels and the lies exposed.

ATF Fast and Furious: New documents show Attorney General Eric Holder was briefed in July 2010

WASHINGTON - New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.
On May 3, 2011, Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, "I'm not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks." Yet internal Justice Department documents show that at least ten months before that hearing, Holder began receiving frequent memos discussing Fast and Furious.

The problem is that Obama has to appoint a special counsel to investigate his friend. Good luck with that one. I predict another classroom lawyer to come from the anal cavity of one of the more radical education factories...if at all.
