Too early to call Pac best of all time , pound for pound . The most recent fighter to start a similar debate was Julio Cesar Chavez with his astonishing (historical really) string of dominating wins , Championships , alien toughness , and skills , especially considering how limited he was physically . The question with any modern fighter is how would they stack up against the animals from history , for example Sugar Ray Robinson , Barney Ross , Stanley Ketchel , Henry Armstrong , Roberto Duran etc. . Some of these guys would sometimes fight twice a week against tough opposition ! Leonard ? Don't think so . Yes he beat a few excellent fighters , was quick and tough but he just didn't have enough fights to be in the top ten IMO . The combined records of the fighters I've listed above would shock you b/c they fought and won so much . Agree that the multiple belts today have watered down boxing , but then again , within this context the cream rises and the quality match-ups like Pac/Cotto are that much more appealing .
