gag, I was working THREE jobs before you were a stain in daddy's pants, and as far as an "Army welfare check",(I served in the United States MARINES, not that you'd know the difference...) as a matter of fact, in 1979 I was involded in a "disabling" accident during a jump, spent 3 months in sickbay and was Honorably discharged, after serving 8 years. I then took a job with the State Dept. for a few years and have enjoyed working in the "private sector" ever since. Although technically elligible for a tax free disability check from Uncle Sam, I've never applied, as I have always been able to work. Somehow I doubt given the same circumstances (as if YOU'D ever serve.....) that you would do the same. My feeling is you'd milk the "system" for every dime you could, while snivelling about yer boo-boo. And gaggy, as far as "shit", I've been in shitstorms you couldn't dream of ya little cvnt, but THAT's what MEN do when asked to serve. Actually, if you compare today with probably 90% of our past it becomes pretty clear that things are way better and continue to improve. There are ups and downs but the trend is good. Every once in a while we do have throw-ups though. Like Pat Robertson or Ted Haggard, or Rush Limbaugh, or Tim McVey (however the hell you spell his sorry name)...and especially Shrub and Darth Cheney. So I kinda agree with the end of your post.
