That was a comedy routine, right ?
Was this guy serious ??
"National Lampoon invades Iraq, blows the country to shit, fires up a civil war, then chastises the puppet police for being 'cowards' by not running to kill fellow Iraqis at their occupiers beck and call..."
This guy invades a nation on lies and trumped-up spin, sends 4,000,000 Iraqis fleeing for their lives, plunders 5000 years of culture, smashes the country to pieces, then BITCHES that he and his comrades are getting "shot at".........and that the Iraqi puppet police are "pussies" because they won't obey their crusader-invader masters orders ??
Either this grunt is the most delusional man on the planet, or he's sooooooooooo swallowed the propaganda and crap that he's not even aware he's not in Kansas anymore...
Worst is that he doesn't even speak or make an effort to communicate some Arabic.
Way to go, arrogant invader buttwipe.
No wonder these guys will happily set an IED for pricks like this.

You wonder why you read about some Iraqi opening fire on US Marines. If that is the way police are addressed, imagine how prisoners are treated. OMG.
I know it must be some frustrating to deal with their culture but finding that out 'post invasion' is more than an after thought and a mistake. Insulting someone, through a translator, to such a personal degree, is probably NOT a good idea. Especially when top brass and grunt alike, dont even know the history or differences of the people it invaded.
It must be 2x hard for the soldiers who care and feel for the Iraqis.
He's frustrated for good reason. He's been thrown into a situation that leadership didn't understand, didn't properly plan for, and didn't train for. The people he's talking to support their local clan, then their sect, then their country, in that order (even if they presently do work for us). I feel sorry for the guys who are over there while Bush is on his ranch sawing wood.
I half expected someone in blue to suddenly shoot the big talker. And you know what, most of the rest of the world would applaud. Thanks, George, wise move.

David Ben-Gurion (the father of Israel) "When fascism comes to America it will be draped in a flag and holding a cross." Sinclair Lewis I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands. One nation, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all.

I feel sorry for the guys who are over there while Bush is on his ranch sawing wood. I agree. Gotta be one of the most stressful, toughest, most dangerous jobs with the longest lasting side effects and the most complex injuries. The economic reality must be extra mental baggage for the soldiers over there too.

Nobody I know applauds when a US soldier is killed. People trash the deciders and the dividers and we get angry with Bush and the Bastards but, after the tirades, we simultaneously sink into depression... Whats not to get depressed about? The last eight years have been hell. We used to be drunk on friendship with the US. We have a hellish hangover.
Great to hear from seasoned warriors, hailing from distinguished lineages of conquering armies

The Marines (et al) are obvously doing their job, you all woke up this morning......

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
Tens of thousands of Iraqi police officers and Army soldiers have been wounded since the war started in 2003. But there are few systems in place to help them: no medical care, no pensions. Instead many are kept on the Iraqi police payroll, swelling the numbers of officers unable to carry out their duties.
Nice to hear some Americans respecting these guys.
Respect is something you EARN gag, it doesn't come in the mail with a welfare check..........

Coming from someone who respects GWB.... positively laughable! Just like your philosophy, black and white. Dear coRky...Only juveniles demand respect and call it earned. You are confusing blind subservience with respect, doesnt sound like you know the difference.
No gag, trust me, you'll recognize respect if you ever EARN it.........

Why? To see a man gunned down? You are a deluded manchild coRky. A dim one at that.
It kinda seems unreal that a war monger accuses a peace lover of enjoying casualties! We have to suffer dumb twats who cheerlead for wars whilst blaming others for the fallout, a fallout they were clearly warned would happen. Typical right wing ding a ling transferring blame for his stupidity to others who, smartly told him the war was a illegal lie and a mistake. I just described the republican party mindset!
Take some responsibly you crusty, old turd... Man up to your crushing fears, misguided, ill informed endeavors and tragic mistakes.
"War monger"?!?! gag, I realize you are the worlds foremost authority on everything (just ask yourself!) but, please son, don't ever talk to me about war, you hav'nt got a fvckin' clue what war is. All the books, and all the michael (gag, puke!) moore docu-lies in the world can't teach you what you will never understand you coddled child.......

I listened to you swiftboat one of your decorated war Vets coRky... I realized then that you dont honor the very institution you want to be honored for.
"Defenders of John Kerry's war record, who include nine of the ten living crewmen who served under him, have charged that organizers of SBVT had close ties to the Bush presidential campaign and that the accusations were false and politically motivated ."
The people who call his military service a joke, they also refer to it as... a ticket punched?
What other realities are people willing to destroy to "win"?

Gog,
I don't know if you've ever served but I sense the original point of this thread is lost on you. we have gone from an NCO 's motovational talk to IP's (anyone who has ever known a sergeant can appreciate) to discussing the dashing & daring deeds of John Kerry whilst fashionig himself PT-109 redux for the 4 months in country.
