I have always been interested in this, & recently have been reading some old books on the subject. I would like to know the opinions/feelings of the members on this board. I was not born in 63, some that were may have thoughts to share, personal experience of the day.
One look at the list of bullshit and you know it was an inside job. It also divides a nation to this day. It set the standard for top level, sub par evidence, blatant lies, fabrications and war profiteering. To garner right wing support, all the government had to do was emphasize Oswald's love of Communism.
Then any old bullshit was gold to the goldfish. Not much has changed.
I managed to make to to Dealey plaza for a look see and ride through. I also made it to the ambassador hotel before it was leveled. I think both brothers would be proud to see Obama in there and neither would be surprised to see the KKKGOP still talking McCarthey/Cheney garbage.
if it was the crime of a lone gunman, Occam's razor, then there must be supernatural force of evil putting LHO in a position to take/make the fatal shots... if it was a conspiracy/cover up, the evil force at work was the machiavellian evil of men... I don't know which is more unsettling

I think her dress is now in the national archives.
My understanding was... LHO was an average shot going by his military records, and the Carcano rifle is a mediocre bolt action rifle for which the scope was not even zeroed.
I have drawn no conclusions except to say that this matter is unresolved, and will most likely remain that way.

I had the honor of having Gunny Carlos Hathcock as an instructor, (after his burns) If there was ANYONE on earth capable of making a shot like that (downward trajectory at a targer moving away thru shade and sun) it was him. I look at motives and I smell army/mob. I dont mean US Troop either(in case you may think I blame the soldiers at Fort Bragg). When I say the same people, I mean the ilk of people. The American Constitution should count as the highest law of the land. Those who tamper, soil, change or disobey this document should go to jail..immediately. When I mention Cheney it's because he was right there with people like Olly North, Gordon Liddy, Nixon and a myriad of crooks and liars who, will misuse any law for their agenda. I'd say the Cheney Bush trials would be more important and more critical than BJs in the Ovary office.

I read a thing once about Kennedy, and why the fascination with conspiracy theories continue about his killing. The reason behind it, so the theory goes, is that it is very difficult for people to resolve in their minds why such a single crackpot could kill someone of such importance.
People want some consistency in their experience of life. If Kennedy had been killed by this nebulous evil of the USSR, Mob, or CIA...then the killer is of somewhat equal stature to the President. LHO was a nobody.
Oswald was a loser's loser, he couldn't even defect to a communist country. He couldn't hold a job, he treated his wife and family pretty bad by most accounts. One thing he, like many narcissists, had was a grandiose self of his own self-importance despite his lack of accomplishment. He could also shoot, and was more than an average shot.
