Default Obama: Naivety showing?

Maybe.
Obama flashes irritation in press room - Jonathan Martin and Carrie Budoff Brown - Politico.com

Does he really think he can go into a room of reporters three days in office and just shake hands without questions? These guy's careers are built on asking tough questions at inopportune times.

They are the sharks, and Obama is a bloody fish twitching in the water. Holy cow, I would be amazed if they didn't ask questions.

Does this bode well for meetings with Iran or Russia?

The honeymoon is over, now he has to answer for what he does, especially with the press.

Are you kidding?! Reporting, in the U.S., has little toughness in it. They may ask an occassional tough question but the usual dodging response is accepted with very few exceptions. Reporters in Britain, for instance, will dog you and dog you until you answer the question. U.S. style reporting is crap, it is unprofessional, it is soft and cozy with they people who are being questioned. It's one of the reason you can't take our media seriously. There are some exceptions, however, but I can't think of any at this time.

A reporter can make a name for himself by sucker-punching someone with a good question.

BTW, in Obama's meeting with Republicans over the stimulus Dan Kyle disagreed with King Barry. His response was "I won. I will trump you on that."

Let's see how far that takes him...

Makes ya wanna puke watching all those "seasoned", professional", "un-biased" (yeah right!) reporters fawning over him like a bunch of teenage girls with Ringo..........

More times than it should have been. Perhaps you didn't get the memo, but it's not getting warmer. It's cold outside. BRRRRRRRRR.

I belive more problems will arise with Obama's signing of the order to close Gitmo without a plan of what to do with the inmates there. Was there a rush to placate the masses...I think so.
See how quick Pelosi slammed shut the proposal to put them on Alcatraz? Not that that would be a good idea, but it was pretty amusing to see her flip out a bit.

My first thought was Alcatraz when I heard he was going to close it. If you have ever been there it really is the perfect place for a prison.

Perfect yes, but seriously out of date and in serious disrepair. It could not be counted upon to serve as a secure prison unless it too got some TARP funds and non-skilled minority only workers were tasked with constucting a new prison.

Why don't they just draft them into the democratic party, seems like they'd fit right in!

ultra-conservative religious fundamentalist? They might choose the other option if they had to choose.

It's the prefect place for a rock and a bunch of birds. The perfect place for a prison is in the middle of an ocean...Papillon, with Bush and Cheney.

What exactly are you looking to convict Bush and Cheney for anyway? Don't you think if there was any substance to that train of thought, dems would have tried to impeach and indict either of them by now?

But I agree with putting the terrorists out in the middle of the ocean though. Sharks need to eat too..

But if you ask him to parlay up a percentage of his family that would be fed to the sharks, pending his torture/killing of an innocent man, he'd have a draft dodger's excuse why they should be exempt. I mean NCY would throw the brown skinned man overboard in a New York minute. If he threw an innocent man overboard and God said "OK pay for that mistake with one of your loved ones" NYC might think twice. As it should be, think twice fool.

AS long as a right winged man sees a boogeyman he's happy... he feels "needed".

We have a lot of laws NYC, some good, some bad as I am sure you are aware. They are there to keep whack jobs, like your beloved political leaders, from creating a blackwater China within our democracies. Why dont you move to China? They operate like you suggest, and vote for... the UN American way as far as I can see. All those secret police, wire tappings, shit legal systems, rotten human rights records, religious persecutions, shit eco awareness, bullying others, totalitarianisms galore... you'd fit right in.
p.s. Bring Rush with you if you leave.
