Default Not another (GAG!) Kennedy.......

I see they're gonna try and stick Caroline Kennedy in Billarys Senate seat, other than having several relatives succomb to "lead poisioning".........

-Rocky-

I hear the whole marrage between Arnold Schwartzniger and Maria Schriver is nothing more than a failed attempt to breed bullet proof Kennedys......

In the grand scheme of things, what's one more unqualified Senator going to hurt?? It is after all a popularity contest isn't it? Why elect someone or appoint someone who's actually qualified?
We've elected someone to the Whitehouse who has a 2 sentence resume, so why not give the job to Caroline Kennedy since she's a charity supporter that probably never held a real job in her life.

the bullet proof Kennedy thing is a scream...

She's bright, literate and an expert on the Bill of Rights, specifically. She's also not an attention whore. What's not to like?

She's a great pick.

Why does she not have the right??? Is she not an American??? Now I don't know if she deserves such an easy ride into a senate seat, but she seems to have the same qualifications as others in the senate!

Good post. All that's missing is any sort of reason for your opinion.

This makes her qualified? She's just one of maybe 100,000 New Yorkers who fit that definition. If her name wasn't Kennedy would we even be having this discussion?

I agree, there are many other people qualified for Senate service. That doesn't disqualify her. Of those 10,000, the number who are well-regarded experts on the Bill of Rights is much smaller, however. I'd bet something like five or ten.

Ok, who saw her on TV regarding her potential nomination?

Now put the parties aside for 15 seconds.
Not in exact words but 'I'm not qualified / experienced to take a position like this'. Her face, tone, inflections, voice, and body language spoke the honest truth of her words.

I have no need to get into this bullshit is what she subconsciously wanted to say.

Now back to politics. The DNC will propel her to the seat and extol her considerable intelligence and in depth experience that will serve America well.

Well Rocky like I said before it is better to actually evolve in your thoughts than to become stagnant and believe only one view!!!

For example if someone said if you eat a certain type of fruit and it could cure cancer I would listen and see if it works, but you would rather stick with what does not work!

Also no one view is only right both sides have positives and negatives!!! If you only look at a negative that will be the view others see!!! Now I know that 47 degrees out side may not be the best weather in the San Fran area but you could be here in Minnesota where it is 19 and it will snow 6-8 inches!!! Now doesn't your weather outlook sound better than mine, (time to clean off the driveway)!!!!

Oh PLEASE......you are so full of yourself it's actually quite amusing to read cuz you believe it.

The ONLY thought process you subscribe to is always wanting to be on the 'WINNING TEAM' or the one you think is a winning team.

It's easy to not pick a side, wet a finger and pointing it up to see which way the wind is blowing today. So honorable that position is.

Thank you for ruining my streak to not reply under any circumstances in this forum. But your BS got the best of me.
