Based on the interviews I saw of her, that is after I picked up my jaw from the floor. The average speedzilla poster is probbaly more qualified to be the republican vice presidential candidate. She couldn't answer simple questions about policy unless she had been trained to answer that question. And a lot of times her answers made no sense whatsoever.
So, I think the republicans are mad at her for destroying the small chance McCain had of clenching the whitehouse.
If he had of been smarter with his VP pick, he could have done a lot better I think.

The points which have been refutiated are: That she thought Africa was a country, that she didn't know the signators or NAFTA, and that she kept the $150,000 of clothes and other crap. I didn't mention those because I know they are false. The things that I did mention are true and on the whole they are more agreegious than the false ones. I didn't mention, nor do I care about her family. Honestly I think it's irrelivant to the real issues. So her underage daughter was pregnant? I really don't care one bit. Those other things you listed didn't influence my opinion of her one bit.

The thing that made me the most angry about her actually was that during one of her speaches she mistook people in the audience saying "louder" for protesters. Her response to that was "Well, I hope you've thanked our ventrans and service members for the right to protest." imlpying that somehow anyone who would protest her or disagree with the republican party was somehow unpatriotic. That bugs the hell out of me whenever someone does it.

Do you believe everything Sean tells you? FOX may have broken the story (I don't know), but Reverend Wright was on every single media outlet, over and over from early on. Besides, if the big, bad, "liberal media" wanted to help Obama they would run these kind of stories soon and get it out of the way. The time that a Wright-style story matters at the polls is close to voting time. Why would they hide something that so obviously will come out in the end? It makes no sense.

What I was asking for was the attacks after the election by the Republicans(unnamed sources), everyone would have accepted Obama ran a better race for an answer, but they are pointing the Self-Righteous finger of Fault. I also asked for peoples opinion without attacking others views, I feel that if you need to attack a messenger whose message you don't like it belittles YOU!!

Who wants to comment on remours from unnamed sources? It is worth us all hearing about but who knows what's true and what's not. I'm taking her word on Africa and NAFTA. The clothes story was shot down in print. The other things I listed have been corroborated in print, usually with quotes, and sometimes with quotes from Alaska newspapers and Alaskan citizens and officials.
If you really want to know, I think Palin was pushed onto McCain by GOP big-wigs. I've heard several times that he wanted Lieberman up until the day before he chose Palin. Lieberman was nixed because of his pro-freedom (read: pro-choice) stance. My impression is that McCain liked Palin a lot in some ways but she was a loose cannon and ended up being an embarrassment and a net negative. It's no wonder to me that a good number of McCain staffers are pissed about the Lieberman/Palin pill they had to swallow.
