There is a documentary soon to be released that you should watch. It's called, Stealing America - Vote by Vote. There aren't any guns or topless women in it so it probably won't appeal to you but in the interest of being informed you would do well to see it. Try to see OutFOXed too - you may be surprised to find out that Fair and Balanced is propoganda.

On ACORN: Maybe you're not aware, but when a canvaser goes out to collect registrations they are required by law to take them from anyone who will fill them out. They are also required by law to submit ALL of them to the registrar of voters. Each registration is required to be verified before the registrant can vote. Verification method varies by state, I believe, but the end result is, like I've said two times so far (but you're so partisan that you can't get through your thick skull ), that the number of fraudulent registrants who vote is infinitesimal and have never made a difference in any Presidential outcome.

I'm not saying ACORN doesn't have ethical problems in some areas but our checks and balances prohibit them from stealing an election. Now if we could just do the same for Diebold voting machines we would have a process that was significantly more open and fair. Tell me something: Do you believe electronic voting machines are reliable and trustworthy? Isn't ACORN a microbe compared to an elephant, vis-a-vis electronic voting?

Just a question, how far does this Diebold conspiracy go? I assume there are some actual, verifiable facts behind these allegations?

Also, if Republicans are keeping voting machines away from blacks, why aren't Democrats protecting their prized possessions and ensuring access to as many Diebolds as they desire? Seems that the Dems have a part to play in this conspiracy also. Isn't it typical for liberals to label blacks as victims of our system? I guess it's what keeps 'em coming back, huh.

Also, Gog, how will Canada benefit from a Barack presidency? I only ask the question because you are so very very concerned with Mr. O being elected.

I've heard of at least two reports done about the security of these machines. One was by an Ivy league school so I guess I loose my arguement . It's pretty complicated so I'd recommend the movie that I recommended to Matthew. There are three problems with electronic voting machines:
1. An Ivy league school showed that they can easily be hacked into. Diebold says that the hackable machines were not like the ones actually used for voting. The hackers say they were. Who do we believe, a company that has millions to make by convincing everyone we're safe or a University? Choices, choices.
2. There is actually more than one company that makes these machines, Diebold is by far the biggest. Diebold is owned by a reputedly hard-core Republican who donates large sums to Republicans (again, money in politics). The code for these machines is held by the company. They could do whatever they want to and no one would know...if they are smart about it.
3. Ohio, 2004 is the only place where a known voting machine voting problem has happened but that wasn't fraud. It was voter suppression. The Chief of Elections was a Republican and his office sent far fewer voting machines into black neighborhoods than was called for. The wait to vote was often two hours and sometimes four hours. The average wait to vote in white neighborhoods was 15 minutes. Can you picture a woman standing in line with a kid or two for hours? Or old people? Or you?

Dude, What America does affects the entire world. Thats the reason George Bush and Co. are hated so much, from Texas to the four corners of the earth. He has lowered the bar on truth, competency, literacy(hehe) and American credibility.

I dont really think all this about McCain, but I wanted you to see the potential for the left's swiftboating... it's huge but it's fuking lame. Thats why you dont see the left doing it.. too stupid a thing to do and just too lame. The swiftboaters of J Kerry can rot in hell.
