Really? Is that why there is a lawsuit in the making that will FORCE NASA to release their data from the studies, since they obviously don't want to release it?

I didn't hear about the lawsuits, but I heard that the Freedom of Information Act request hasn't been answered in over 2 years and the law states that they had 20 days to answer. Should be interesting to see what happens.

The government spends more on climate study than it does on the cure of diseases.

By the way, since you mentioned a thourougly predictable and understandable snow in Houston I thought you might also like to know what it's like where I live. Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of GW but you seem to have a fondness for antecdotal non-science wives tales and such.

Well, when I was a kid (40 to 25 years ago) it was significantly colder here. We even missed a day of school a year because of snow, on average. I remember the frost control systems in vineyards running all the time in the spring. One year they even had frost in June! All of that is gone now. My area is significantly warmer. I know this because I'm a farmer. The weather has warmed over the last several decades. Snow on the valley floor is now unheard of. Like I said, that's just antecdotal, local info. It does not mean the earth is warming. What means the earth is warming is a much larger and proven set of data. You just don't understand that fact. I feel kind of sorry for you guys who live in a protective shield of self-imposed ignorance. Try to relax a little. GW does not mean you will lose your big screen. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
