Default Fuel Pump for 750 Paso with Del'Ortos

Does anyone know the proper pump for this set-up. I believe it is a 4-5 psi. Does anyone have a part number that I could use at NAPA or something???? Thanks, Matt

Take a look at both the E2008 and the E2035. The E2035 is the correct one for my 900SS with carbs. Both are low PSI pumps, with the E2008 being 6mm longer.

Ditch the fuel pump entirely. I have the same setup and the float bowls are lower than the bottom of the tank, so gravity feed is enough. I haven't run across any fuel starvation at higher rpms.

I also use a simple line routing and use the return line on the tank to act more like a vent to the tank. Here's my line route...

DD,
Have you never run into an occasional problem starting? I don't know how different the Paso and SS plumbing is, but occasionally, my SS just wouldn't start. It took me a long time to catch onto the fact that sometimes the pump was running, and sometimes it wasn't. But, if it works for you without the pump, then 'nuff said. My old Airhead Beemer didn't need no steenkin' pump!

Most of the time, the Paso starts so quickly, I can't even tell that the engine turned over any before it was fired. I also did a wiring mod (installing two relays) that is popular with the Paso that reduces the voltage drop to the coils that occurs with the OEM wiring arrangement.

thanks for the tips. We ditched the pump but it is good to have the numbers for future knowledge.
