Default Monza 160 Jr.

Not a lot of action in this section, but as I'm new here I'll post on up. I've acquired a Monza Jr. 160, although calling it that is a little generous since it's nothing but a frame, motor, and suspension. No body work. No electrics.

I've been searching around for info and parts, and other than the few sellers on Fleabay who seem to come up with odd parts here and there, I've not found a lot of info on the bike. Anyone have recommendations on places to go for info and parts? thanks...

Here are a couple of pics....

Looks like a great start for a project to me! The one I'm building started as a complete bike but I ended up tossing a lot of the stuff you're missing anyway. If you want late model bodywork it shouldn't be hard to find, no one seems to like it much. The tank and seat off a 250 Monza will fit. Fenders are different. Headlight will work too. Actually the tank off most any narrowcase will work.

ducatimeccanica.com - for classic Ducati motorcycle enthusiasts was the old standard for vintage Ducs, but they've been hit or miss for a while now. If you follow the links there you can find a link to a 160 manual. They also have info on joining the "bevelheads" list which is a group of bevel Ducati fans. Tons of info available there along with sources for parts.

Domiracer in Ohio has some parts for these things. Also Phil at Road and Race in Austrailia. Bevel Heaven carries a few things for them too. Google the names to find the contact info (I'm at work and haven't got the links handy though add .com and youll likely get there, except for Phil)

Here's a link to a page I put together for my project:

Ducati 160 Home

People around here have seen these photos before but he what the heck. First day back to work for a while and im trying to avoid real work anyway...

The plan is to make it look like this:

Right now the project is stalled though, looking more or less like this:

I did get the front end on before I stuffed it into a corner of the shop and threw a cover over it... about a year ago.

Thanks for the info! Your project is in better shape than mine! Mine still looks like it did when I first posted.
Although I have been collecting some pieces for it. Decided to cafe it since a really sweet tank kind of fell in my lap.

Default Ducat tiddler parts

Try Phil at Road and Race, and Michael at Gowanloch, both in OZ land, Australia.
