Secondary Throttle plate removal & ECU

Ok so I go to remove my 2ndary throttle plates on my 06' SV650.. then I figure out I can remove the entire assembly & fill the holes... my question is I know that removing this will tell the ECU to go into "limp" mode... anyone done this?
