Default Aftermarket rim fitament on the 610

So I'm trying to do a wheel rebuild this winter and while I'm at it, I want to go up on my rear rim width from the stock 4.25. 4 1/2" would be okay but are hard to find and 5's are plentiful but I've not heard of anyone going that big on the 610. I do remember seeing a set of Marchesini's on someones but can't remember who. If you have any first-hand knowledge of the fitament of a 5" rim on on 610 please speak up.

I've got a 5" rim on my 610, is great, though bit harder to get past the bolts on the chain guide.

I had to have a jap rim laced to my stock hub, as a site in Oz was getting rid of rims dirt cheap, couldn't pass it up.

Goosedog, your over here too.. excellent.. So what did you end up doing and how did it work out? I have access to a nice set of Husqvarna blue wheels but the rear is 5 inch and the front is a 16.5, not 17. I was thinking I could just run rain slicks but I'm concerned about the rear not clearing.

Hey smokie usually it´s the tyre hitting the swingarm and not the wheel. So you could always go down one tyre size, e.g. from 160 to 150.
