The Euro/Dollar exchange rate must be killing them. A single for north of $10k? How many will they sell, seven?

Why don't they just give in to the inevitable and put the RC8R 1135cc motor in the supermoto?

I am pretty sure that is a 990cc V-twin hiding in there if you look real close you can even SEE the second cylinder.

I wasn't clear that I was talking about two different bikes. The 690 will be a hard sell at that price I think.

I figured you were asking about the 990 since that was what the title was about. But I do agree that the 690 is priced really high. the 990 looks cool but is to street to really call a Supermoto. it is direct competion with teh Hypermotard from Ducati and for that target it is priced fairly.
