pros and cons of buying new or used crf 450

cant decide on whether to buy a clean used 04 for $4500 asking or buy brand new 05 for $6200 otd. used seem like it was well taken care of but he buys new every year so im wondering if he just put tons of hours so he swaps for new all the time.

Even if the used one thrashed, you still have $1700 buck to rebuild it...you'll be way ahead with the used one...
