A buddy & I were looking at this article last week, I thought that:

"the fact that Suzuki's DR-Z400 is the ideal machine for Supermoto, we believe that this partnership will benefit everyone involved."

was a particularly interesting statement. Apparently these guys have not spoken with any of the vast majority of guys who have actually raced a DRZ...

I do applaud them for their efforts though, this should be a good thing for the sport.

i think for a new rider the DRZ would be a great bike to start racing with low maintenance costs.
