Can you believe how bad the MXGP stuff is. Tried to start watcing thanks to Tivo the other night and fell asleep, just like last year. It's the only coverage I know of that's worse than the AMA Supermoto coverage. Sometimes I don't know if I blame the announcer, they jump around so much it gives me vertigo.
Probably not to race myself. Got too much to do/buy fixing up the new farm this year. I had a pretty long recovery requiring surgery for my arm after my happless fall from my dirtbike in the street. Man a few seconds forgetting about wet tires and brakes and you life changes for months! But I'm pretty much back to normal now but need to build up strength. The rehad place says I can start working out soon.
But I hope to attend a race or two and plan to attend some other get togethers such as dirt/street rides the group has. Plus the weekend street/dirt ride I plan to have down to my farm in the spring. So I'll be around a bit.
Is TIVO the device that tries to guess what you want to record... kind of goes off on its own recording things it thinks you want to see?
Because I think I remember reading an article by some guy whose TIVO decided that he was gay... started recording a bunch of Bravo channel stuff, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy reruns, and whatnot... He made it sound very distressing.
Seriously though, you can turn that stuff off. Mine is set to record any motorcycle racing on ESPN2, Speed or OLN. Just got though watching last nights SX. What a mess, would have been a lot of fun riding through that with slicks.

Thanks awesome. I got the dvd recorder w/o tivo so I have to tell it what time to record and what not. But I love it. Recorded both the s1s today, man those were some nice butts on the Romanian podium chicks
