NWGP 2008 Thumpstar spec series

the www.northwoodsgp.com series has added a Thumpstar spec class for 2008. these bikes will cost about 1600 bux and be strictly regulated/monitored to keep costs down and racing close.

races will be held at all NWGP rounds at USAIR, Road America, Sugar River Raceway and possibly other tracks in WIsco.
interest is building and i'll probably get 1 when a few more guys commit.
this will be a cheap way to get into mini racing that will ensure A) there will be bikes in your class to race against every weekend B) the racing is reasonably fair. not a test of who spent the most money C) true competition based on rider skill.
no whining about $5K motors, big brakes, superior suspension. you set your bike up and you race.

i'm not organizing this or making $ off of it in any way. i'm just passing on the info with the hope that a few more riders get interested and the sport grows.
