SM610 rear brake

Hi all,

New here. Love this bike so far. Coming off a 1200 Bandit, so the change is drastic. Have already added a pipe and tweaked the jets thanks to all the input I found on here. Runs good so far, but I am still in break in.

My question: the rear brake disc rattles. Is this normal? I understand floating disks, but I did not think they should rattle. Any help is appreciated.

Does it rattle while you're rolling down the road, or putting on the brake, o is it that you can grab the rotor and move it with no effort?

I hate the rattle as well. I wish Galfer would make a wave rotor that would replace this one.

+1 It floats on the round washers that the disc is mounted to.

How do you hear it rattle with the sound of THUMPER from the exhaust in your ear....That's all I can hear when I ride, exhaust note & wind. Sweet!!
